Few producers can pack more into a single track than Skrillex, but the man of the Mothership didn’t let that stop him from tricking out Kill The Noise collab “Recess” even further – all he needed were a few more friends. After a last minute preview, the title track has officially received its own remix package complete with four energetic interpretations of its already frenetic sound. Milo & Otis lead the pack with great fanfare, using a brass band to back the bounce before spiraling into pop and lock territory.Valentino Khan takes the tune one trappier, hoisting a boisterous bass beat up over the rest of the elements and utilizing Fatman Scoop’s unmistakable MC skills for additional hype. Taking the genre blender from “mix” to “liquify,” Houston’s Ape Drums does intergalactic dancehall, combining a hip shaking drum and skewed synths before Flux Pavilion takes the EP home with a slowed down, glossed up dubstep edit that goes down smooth.
